MLA citation sandwich example

Here is an example of an MLA citation (sandwich) you might include in your paper:

One of the biggest reasons for changing the way teach is so that students can see the real value of what they are learning.  According to Pamela Harris at Montana University, problems proposed in school should "motivate students to learn by providing a real-world context" (Non-Traditional).  This real-world application is so valuable in knowing why we should learn.
The bolded words are what you would include on your thesis essay organizer.

Then the MLA citations in the Works Cited page would look like this:
Harris, Pamela. "Non-Traditional Teaching & Learning Strategies." Montana State University.  Montana State University. n.d., Web. 16 Apr. 2014.
